Every time I clean my kitchen I dream of what my kitchen one day will be! White and amazing! I want white cabinets and butcher block counter tops, Bronze oiled appliances and espresso hard wood floors! I want bead board ceilings and white crown molding! My colors are White, Tiffany Blue and Espresso! So I have gone and picture overloaded you I hope you enjoy all these wonderful kitchens and stay tuned for more to come!

Mama's Got A Brand New Tatt!

While home recently I decided that it was time to finish the tatt on my foot! My Brother in Law Klint @ Highlander Tattoos in Show Low always takes good care of me!

What used to be just Gavin's thumb print with a halo is now a work of art!
We added Gages thumb print and made them into birds! Gavin's wings spread and Gage's tucked behind him!
My boys are so precious to me and I love looking at my baby birds all day!

Well there is no doubt that my Gager is a funny lil guy! What a sense of humor he has! He constantly has us laughing! Tonight Gage was walking around everywhere dragging my jacket around so Josh put it on him! Gage loved every minute of it! He was just too cute, I just had to bust out my camera! 3 Years Ago Today I saw this lil face for the very first time!

And from that moment on my life was changed

I loved more than I'd ever loved before

I saw the world in a total different light

I was a mommy for the very first time

He was mine, sent from God

To take care of and love while he was here on earth

But on this day

August 18,2006

The farthest thing from my mind was how long he would actually be here on earth with me.

I never thought that I'd out live him

The only thing I can remember was that I was so excited to finally see his lil face (he was beautiful) and starting our lives together.

Our new lives at that!

Things would no longer be the way they were. I'd make sure of that.

I would love him like no one else ever could

I would teach him everything I could

It was no longer about me

Cuddly, Soft, Happy, & Silly...Very Silly.

Gavin & I had such a special bond.

Yes he was my first born

But he was also my very best friend.

He pulled me through every single day.

Smart amazing lil man of mine.

A short 21 months later he left for heaven

And again my world would never be the same.

This lil boy has changed my life a million times over in his short life.

And there's no one I miss more than him.

He brought so much sunshine into everyone's life

And still does to this day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAVIN!!

I still learn something new from you every single day.

With my house decor that is! I've spent most of my day in my big chair looking at blogs and house decor! In the midst of Vick's Tissues and Buggers! (Yes we're sick) And While I've looked at all these wonderful pictures it has occurred to me that I am completely bored out of my mind with my decor! I want so much more! So I'm gonna start re decorating my house! All will have to be on a dime so my creativity will be needed! And let me tell you my creative juices are flowing! Here are some of my favorite things I've found today! Keep an eye out for the befores and afters of my house! Time to make the way I feel about my HOME a reality....

(Above)-I love how comfortable this room is! And I like how they have curtains deviding the dinning room and the living room!

(Above)- This used to be an old ugly painting! They just painted and distressed the frame and then used chalk board paint to paint over the picture its self!

I'm in a Mod Podge mood! Here is the first of many projects! I absolutely love the way this turned out! It used to be white with a hot pink stripe! I had some wonderful help from my good friend Carly at 1000 Memories here in Sierra Vista! This is my inspiration for my future living room decor! Working on three other projects that will be presents for some close friends!

Saying Goodbye!

Tonight we are saying goodbye to something that has been near and dear to us for the past year! Our dear friend Similac will no longer be part of our life (well at least for the time being)

Tonight I made Gage's very last formula bottle and put him to bed! It's now on to bigger and better things! Can't say I'll miss it all that much! It's a rather messy and stinky guest! But I sure do enjoy why it comes into my household! So until the next Pyatt Baby.....SO LONG SIMILAC!!!

This Is The Beginning Of Something BIG!!!

Gage turned 1 on June 12th but his BIG party wasn't till June 20th! We made the 5 hour trek up to Show Low to throw the big bash! His entire theme was Hurley and I made all the decor by hand! It turned out amazing and we had such a great time with our Sweet Boy and all our family and friends! Here are a few pics of Gage's BIG day!

June 12th came and went and my baby is a big boy now! When did that happen? It has been quite the year! Some days I wasn't sure we'd ever make it to see a year! Other days went by too fast and now I'm wondering where all the time went! So when this very special day came we had just a small celebration with Gage, Josh & I! The following week would be his big party! But for the time being...I made him some special cupcakes and decorated around his highchair! He loved his cupcakes!

Where the heck have I been? Yeah I'm not really sure! LOL! I've been busy and mourning and being a mommy, a daughter, a wife and a friend! And honestly I have just not been in a blogging mood! Not exactly the mood I wish to be in that's for sure! I have missed you all dearly! I have been trying to keep up on reading each one of your blogs though! So for some new things in my life...The one year anniversary of Gavin's death came and went! The day was much easier than the month prior! I was not ready for any of it really! I miss my Gavin so much! The day was nice! Some close family and friends all met at his grave site and shared fond memories of our precious lil man! Then we all headed to Licanos for dinner and some special time together! And some yummy Strawberry Margaritas! Gage turns 1 soon and I am busy planning his birthday party! It is sure to be the best party I have thrown yet! I enjoy planning parties so much! Each one is bigger and better! It also keeps me busy and keeps my mind off of things! Josh and I have been seeing a counselor and are now on anti depressants! Last night I took my very first one! I have never slept so much in my life! I guess I can't be depressed if I'm sleeping! LOL! Gage now has a couple teeth and is starting to feed himself and clap and so on! He's getting so big! I cut and colored my hair and I adore it! So there is a lil update! I'm back now! So keep an eye out for my blogs! Love you all!

So my best friend Kasarah's Girlfriend had a baby in November and this past week when we went home I finally got to meet her! We've already got her married off to Gage! Lol! It was arranged long before they were born! It was so good to finally get to hold her chunkiness instead of just seeing it in picture messages on my phone!

Now I only have a very few pictures for now! But we went home for a week last week! We went for Josh's moms wedding and to set Gavin's headstone which was in my first update! It was a beautiful wedding and we had such a great time being with our families!

UPDATE #1!!

Though it may seem that I've fallen off the face of the Earth it's actually quite the opposite! I've been running around crazy! I've been keeping up with you guys but only having the time to read what your up to! Trust none of you have been far from my mind during my endless running! The biggest thing I have to update you on is Gavin's Headstone! YES....we finally got it set, and it looks absolutely AMAZING! My Husband, Brothers in Law, Klint and Jason, and Best Friend Kasarah set it together making it a lot more meaningful! So here are the pictures of that day! What and overwhelming set of emotions I went through! Josh had gone a few days prior to setting the headstone and poured the concrete base that the whole headstone would sit on! So Sunday the 8th we all gathered and set our babies headstone!

My husband payed so much attention to every lil detail and it shows! I'm not sure what I would do with out him! Thank You baby!

So I know a few people have said they would like to visit Gavin sometime so here's where his grave is located! He is not actually in the baby section but his Headstone is overlooking the baby section in the Showlow Cemetery!

I have so many more updates with tons more pictures to come! I will be on a lot more often now that things have slowed down a lil! Hopefully I can start to catch up on commenting too! Love you all!

GOOD GOOD NEWS!!!

OK so I have a couple new things to tell you guys! First of all Gage had is scope done and it all went very well! And just as you said Dawna he came through with flying colors! And the diagnosis is.... ACID REFLEX! So we were given a script for liquid Zantac and sent on our way!
Here he is just before the procedure in his cute lil hospital gown! The Turtle Was a gift From the Tucson Medical Center and he loved playing with his lil tiny blood pressure cuff! It was pretty much the cutest thing I've ever seen! I love his lil ears and how they stick out from is Charlie Brown Head!

The other great News is Gavin's Headstone is finally done! Now we just have to get all the details figured out to get it up to Showlow and get it set!

It turned out AMAZING!!! I Love it SO MUCH! I found a great Garden Bench to go with it too! It'll be such a relief when it is finally in place!

One More Very Exciting thing.....

WE GOT OUR TAXES DONE TODAY!

We are getting an AMAZING amount back and feel very BLESSED!

One thing I love about Josh is he somehow always finds me when were in bed and he's sleeping! Either with his feet or with his hands! But he always finds me! We have a California King sized bed so its easy to sleep far apart. The other night I got into bed and got all comfy (I'm almost always up long after he's drifted to sleep) soon his hand found mine! I looked up and felt so overwhelmed wanting to never forget this kind of perfection!

Today was so nice! Josh had a day off so we got up and got ready and went to lunch and then went to the PX to just look around and kill time before our WIC appointment at 3:00! THANK GOD FOR WIC!! SO after our appointment we headed to the bank and then to Safeway to do some Grocery shopping! We used coupons for the first time and though we only save 17 dollars I was very excited! It's a good start in my book! After shopping we headed back home and I decided to re organize the cabinet that we put all Gages formula, food, bottles, juice, etc. in! It was holding a bunch of other food in it but I needed more room! Here's the final product!

The top shelf is home to our candy hoard!

After I was finished with the cabinet I took on the fridge scrubbed it down and re organized it and put our new groceries away!

I think we need to go back to Safeway it looks so empty now!

So by this time I was on a roll so I decided to tackle the pantry! So I threw some clothes in the wash and put a load of dishes in the dish washer and started my new task!

There are about 4 bags of cereal behind the boxes! We won't have to buy cereal for a while!

I've been wanting to get these organized for a while! And finally did! HOORAY ME!! Plus I got two loads of laundry done... not folded though! UGH I hate folding laundry!

Josh grilled some steaks tonight, and we had Parmesan pasta and green beans! Oh my goodness it was DELISH! So much better than my dinner last night! This is why we let Josh do the cooking! While he was grilling I fed Gage his dinner Pineapple, Ham and Rice dinner! MMMM he loved it!

After dinner I did the dinner dishes and wiped up the counters then It was time to clean the stove! I was not looking forward to it! So I asked Josh if he was gonna give Gage his bath for me and he was like if you give him his bath I'll clean the stove...DEAL!!!!! So I gave Cakey his bath and fed him his dessert which he likes to have in his bath! He's so silly! I got Gage out of the bath, lotioned him up and got him ready for a nice Baba Mimi! Came back out to a clean stove!

It was like MAGIC!!! It looks amazing! Good Job baby! I Love You!

Now were laying in bed and a snack sounds nice! Yeah Yeah I know it's 2:15 in the morning but I eat whenever I feel like it! Were staying up late cause Josh has to work tomorrow night midnight to 8 am! I hate that shift! I wish everyday could be like today! Anyway Nighty Night friends Sleep Tight!

Bon Appetit....OR NOT!!

Generally I don't cook and we found out why tonight! I actually didn't do too bad of a job the recipe just wasn't the best! But My wine tasting skills were superb however! I found this recipe about a week ago that sounded so yummy and I had been wanting to make it! It was Pasta with Garlic and Olive oil! So I was all excited to cook for Josh since I rarely do! So I went out to the store and picked up the ingredients I needed to make my yummy dish and also picked up some fresh green beans to go with it! I also picked up some Ben & Jerry's and A bottle of Yellow Tail Rose Wine! I was so excited to come home and cook for my honey! He deserved a break! So I got home and poured a glass of wine and got prepared to make our delicious meal!

I chopped all the garlic just right! And sipped on my wine!

I started the water for the spaghetti and got the green beans ready and on the stove! Then I started on the olive oil sauce! And sipped on my wine!

As I was waiting for things to simmer and boil I fed Gage some pears with Raspberry's to go along with his bitter biscuit that he became friends with for the first time today! I think he's had 2 today and also a banana cookie he liked those too! He also became familiar with White Grape Juice. He hasn't been a big juice fan until today!

After Gage was nice and full and I had had a couple more sips of wine Dinner Was Ready....Or so I thought! I went to taste it and it was not so great! So I told josh and he came and fixed it fir me! He's really good with spices! Thank goodness! My green beans turned out amazing though! Lol! So we sat down for our dinner and turned on Wall-E! What a cute movie! Now for some Pistachio Pistachio Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream! I may not be able to cook to well but I sure can pick some killer Ice cream!

The Time Has Come!

Tomorrow I go in and make the appointment for Gage to have his Barri um Swallow done! Then January 27th we will be headed to Tucson for the scope to be done! They will be putting a scope down his throat and looking around! Does anybody know what this procedure involves! I know it has a specific name that I can never remember! I'm very worried about this whole situation although I try not to show it! Please keep us in your prayers every one helps!

Sweet Baby Face!

What a sweet baby I have! WOW! I am so truly blessed to have him in my life! I just love everything about his lil face! He'll sit there and look at me and I'll hold his huge marshmallow cheeks in my hands and say "Look at this sweet Baby face" and he'll just look up at me & smile so big! I love his Big blue eyes that remind me so much of his brothers! I'm so thankful that Gage also got those same blue eyes! I love his incredibly long lashes that he inherited from his father! The combination of the two will surely cause mass chaos one day! I Love his huge marshmallow cheeks to kiss on and his great big smile that lights up my world every time I see it! I love his lil tongue that is constantly sticking out these days leading to massive amounts of drooling and one would think a tired tongue! I love all his silly facial expressions and how they all resemble his father! His personality and since of humor are out of this world! He's got such and energy about him! What a lil love I have! Thank you Lord for making me his Mommy!

Another Good Day!

So we had a pretty good day again today!

HOORAY!!

Again only cried when he was ready for mimi (bed)! Dada was at work today so Gage & I decided to go walk to the mail box down the street and get the mail! We also had nanners earlier today and then sweet tatters during his bath! He polished both off! They were both bout a half a jar or a lil more! We are starting to introduce juice! He doesn't like to drink it on his own but he'll let me squirt it in his mouth! He's so silly! We also worked on his sitting up by himself! He can do it if he would just try a lil! He's got a short attention span! LOL! He's really starting to get the hang of it and will balance himself real well for about a minute at a time or so!

I couldn't get a pic from the front cause it'd through him off! Besides someone has to catch him when he loses it! :)

Then Gage and Dada hung out and watched the Colts and Chargers Game! A lil male bonding!

After some nice snuggles it was time for a bath and a baba mimi! He went right to sleep! Guess we wore him out today!

1.1.09 A Day That Will Live On In History!

OK so maybe not but it was a super exciting day for me! It was by far the SUPER BEST day that Gage and I have ever had! I was so ready for the break too! He didn't fuss at all, only cried when he was ready for his nap, and played in his jumper most all day! So I took advantage of this new found glory and took down the Christmas tree, and decorations, Put up all the Christmas dishes, Washed my bedding, vacuumed, dusted, did two loads of dishes made myself a healthy dinner since Josh was at work, & cleaned Josh's and My room! I still had time to play with Gage and we had a great time! We laughed and played and I sang to him...which he loves! What an amazing lil boy I have not that I didn't already know that! We have been working on Gages eating and he is finally starting to get the hang of it! He just didn't quite get the idea before! So I had the bright idea of feeding him while he sat in his bumbo which is now what he takes his bath in! HE LOVED IT!!! He finished off almost full jar of apple sauce! It was amazing! He sat there and ate like any normal baby! I decided all of this came from the lil talk he and I had on New Years Eve! I told him that our New Years Resolution should be that he be a better baby and I would be a better Mama! Maybe he needed a fresh new start too! Lol!

Today Wasn't as good as yesterday but it wasn't horrible! He barely napped so I think that was the culprit! I was worn out from yesterday so I just sat around today! So when it was time for his bath I decided we would eat some more! (don't worry I feed him during the day too I put it in his bottle) So during his bath he finished off a half of a jar of pears that I added baby rice to, and then I had josh warm up the left over nanners from earlier and he polished those right off! By George I think he's got it down! HOORAY!!! What a kid! Here's to my Gage baby and having many more good days in our future & Lots more nanners too!

Josh didn't have to work New Years Eve but we didn't go anywhere or do much! We just stayed home and hung out the 3 of us! It was nice really! Although I love partying in the New Year usually! It was nice to just be with my loves in our home! I put Gage to bed around 10 although if he wanted to stay up I would have let him just to be with him at midnight! But we've finally got him on a schedule so he was ready for bed bout 10 ish! So Josh & I just watched T.V and whatched the count down at Midnight! It was a good calm ending to a crazy year! Goodbye 2008!

Gage had an appointment with the specialist Thursday! The specialist wants to see him in his Tucson office! They are going to put a camera down his throat and take pictures and also take some xrays! Needless to say this will be very hard for me to watch! I get emotional just now as I think about it! We don't yet have an appointment they will be calling us within the next week or so!

As for CHRISTMAS holy geez it right around the corner! I'm not half as prepared as I'd like to be that's for sure! I am excited about it just not ready! My mom should be coming down the 23rd and staying through Christmas! Josh will be working Christmas eve so Mom Gage and I are going to go to a Christmas Eve Service at a church here in Sierra Vista then we'll come home and make apple upside down french toast! NUM YUMMY! It will be ready when Josh gets home from work! This will be our tradition every Christmas Eve!

It's a big night tonight! Gage is sleeping in his room in his crib all night for the very first time and let me just say its wonderful! He was so fussy after his bath tonight and nothing was making him happy so I went and layed him in his crib and turned on a ocean sounds cd and just let him cry it out and he went mimi finally! So I hooked up the baby monitors (which are on there last leg) and set up the baby gate! He's doing so well too! Usually he's all over the place in our room! It was just time I think! Hopefully every night will go as well as this from now on!

Yep that's right today was Gages Halfa Birfday! Hard to believe he's a half a year old! So we definitely had to celebrate the fact we made it through the first 6 Months! It's been a long hard road! So I made a freezer paper shirt for the special day! (Thanks Ash) Here are the pics of that!

I love the way his shirt turned out! He looked so cute in it! So we had quite the day! We played and took a couple mimi's! Then we worked on our standing up and sitting up! I think he's better at standing up then he is sitting up! He does everything his own special way! We also opened our present and ate some Squash! Then we went really wild and colored our hair red (Don't worry it washes right out) and made a mold of our hand and foot! Then it was time to clean up and have a nice baba mimi! We got these pictures done when I was a month from Gavin's due date and when he was 3 months old! I just had a very hard time ordering the pictures! I wish it wouldn't have taken me so long! When we brought Gavin home to lay him to rest I went directly to Lofgreens and ordered the pics! It could not wait any longer! It's begging to look a lot like Christmas in the Pyatt house hold! My tree is decorated just a few more ornaments here and there! The House is lit and looks beautiful! Even Gage is in the holiday spirit!LOL! Were very Excited for Christmas, I'm a lil nervous! Gage's first Christmas and our first Christmas without Gavin! Very Bitter Sweet for me! I got a special ornament in honor of Gavin! Beautiful Angel Wings sit at the top of my tree! I'll be buying one each year and also one for Gage each year! And we will put them on a special tree! How Many Times Can I Break Till I Shatter?

Gage is my difficult child! Though I love him very much he tends to drive me nuts! Lately he pretty much hasn't stopped crying! I've been calling him drama lately cause I can not be out of his sight for one minute or it's over and the flood gates are opened (WIDE)
It makes me so sad to actually be saying this because I love him so much but it's becoming a bad habit? How do you break such a habit? It's very trying I must say! But I just breath and try to think of another silly thing I can do to make him smile and take his mind off of being upset! Obvious to me that this will be my job for the next 30..40..50... years! Make him smile! Nothing brings me more joy! Dear Lord please take my babies crankiness away! Please help me to be strong daily and give me the patience to endure the long days of fussiness! Amen
Needless to say now is harder than ever! Josh broke his hand almost a week ago so I've lost my helper and my mind! My poor hubby! He's been so miserable lately with a broken hand! It's crazy times in the Pyatt household for sure! I look forward to Thanksgiving next week and having our family down here with us!

OK HOORAY for me my Christmas tree is starting to come together! I've been collecting stuff for my tree lately and I've been super lucky to find what I've found so far! Now this isn't just any tree! I'm replicating a tree that I saw last year in Louisiana when we took Gavin to see Santa Clause! We had some pics taken in front of it too! This tree is just so Magical I love it!

Well Josh will be out of the Army in just about 2 years and were planning on building a house shortly there after as soon as we decide exactly what well be doing and where! I realized that that really isn't all that far away with how time flys these days! So I've been trying to decide how I would want my home! I was having problems with most of all of the decisions till I found this amazing lil store called The White Chair in Snowflake next to the McDonalds! It's a lil Shabby Chic Decor store! This store makes me smile BIG!! Just walking around in this store is an experience in it's self! I was so amazingly happy in that store so I decided it makes since for me to surround myself with these things! Now shabby chic is alot of white and I have alot of Espresso furniture but Im learning that I can still do shabby chic with my dark furniture! So for now Im just starting to collect things for my future home! I can't wait! Here are some of the amazing ideas Im finding that I love! Just thought I'd share with you! Yep this is how it is round my house! All 3 of us caught a lil cold! Gage has the worst of it poor lil guy! So I've been quite busy taking care of him lately he is so miserable! He just wants mama to hold him! we got his crib finally and so now when I do get a chance to put him down he naps in his crib! Getting ready for the transition! He seems to really like it!

Now I'm ready to decorate his room! Yeah I'm getting a slow start! But I'm ready now since he'll actually be in there more!

So I'm so excited to say that my lil Niece Marlee Shay was born Yesterday! She weighed 6lbs 4 oz! I can't wait to hold her! The pictures are real small cause they were sent to me on my cell! I'll have more pictures soon I'll be seeing them next week!

My Weekend- My Mom came down for a visit! It was so nice to see her! She kept Gage busy while I was busy working on the shower! Then she made the trip with us to Phoenix for the baby shower! It was a very long day! Then on Sunday we went to church! I'm looking for one down here and let me tell you I was not impressed with the one we went to! Guess I'll keep looking! I was hoping it would be a good experience but it was quite the opposite! First thing first I get there and they won't allow me to take Gage into the Sanctuary but I'm not going to put him in the nursery with people I've never met in my life! Church or not! So we had to sit in a separate room and watch the service through the window! I felt like a criminal! The sermon was super long and not too exciting! My mom even fell asleep which she never does! I used to get in so much trouble for doing the same thing! I wish we lived in Mesa! My church down there is so alive and thriving! And the people are so wonderful! This church we visited wasn't too big but yet nobody welcomed us, even after we told them we were first time visitors! It was a very cold place and I feel like that is the last thing a church should be! So I may try the church on base!
Grama, Gage, & Gucci!

Gage-has a doctors appointment on Wednesday just with his regular doctor! I want to sit down with her face to face and talk out the situation with him since we were only told what was going on over a voice mail! So were going in to talk and figure out all the next steps! There will also probably be a few shots involved!

October 15th- Was Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day! So many wonderful people lit a candle in honor of my sweet Baby Gavin! I was absolutely blown away! I'm going to try and add a picture folder cause there are just too many pictures to post on here! But they are amazing so I for sure want to share! I'll let you know when I get it all set up! For now here are a couple pictures of the candle I lit!

The small candle on the left is for both of my sisters in law who both lost thier pregnancy's this year after Gavin passed away! October 22nd- What a special day this will be! I so wish I was able to be there! On this day at 4:45 P.M. Will be the Gavin's Place Dedication! This is a memorial park and fenced play area designed to offer a safe place for the children of Fort Belvoir to play! Again I'm completely blown away! A friend up there just myspaced me saying that they just put in benches, picnic tables and even a grill! How amazing! I love it! I'll have pictures tomorrow after the ceremony! Some of the families who were there the day my Gavin passed way will be going to the dedication and are sending me pictures! The memory of my sweet boy lives on through people all across the country how amazing is that? He touched so many at such a young age!

Back at the Drawing Board!

Ok so it's been a while since I've blogged, I've been keeping my self busy! I'm throwing a baby shower for my cousin April this coming Saturday (holy cow where has the time gone) Anyway! We got some news on Gage baby! They went over the video from his upper G.I. and as he does not have acid reflux he may have something wrong with his esophagus! He seems to be having problems swallowing! His doctor will be referring us to a specialist in Tucson! This is news I was really dreading to hear but at the same time I truly knew that there was something wrong! He can't be as upset as he has been lately without there being something wrong! I am so emotionally, mentally and physically exhausted from the past 5 months and it just seems to be getting worse! I have had so many challenges lately and I can't help but wonder why! What is God preparing me for? I just keep putting my trust in him knowing he well help me get through this too! I'm praying that it's something very easily solved!

So Gage had his upper GI yesterday but I was just too tired to post anything since he decided to keep us up till 6AM! We then had to be up before 9 to get to his appointment!

The process was very interesting and Gage was such a lil trooper! It started out with an x-ray to make sure I hadn't fed him in the past 6 hours (yeah that was fun) and then it went on to him having to drink this white stuff that got all over the place! He had it in his ears and his eyes, everywhere!

He had to lay on a table and drink this stuff while they we took video of his insides! It was crazy! We actually saw the liquid stuff he was drinking going down into his tummy! And we had to move him in a bunch of different positions and he didn't even fuss! GO GAGE!! So it doesn't look like he has acid reflex or anything else for that matter!I'm so glad to find out he is fine but it puts us back at the drawing board trying to figure out what is causing his tantrums! Were gonna start doing baby massage to see if we can help him calm down and sleep at night! Last night was the first time I tried it and it seemed to help! He slept very well only waking up once for a baba! And is up today and pretty happy! Lets pray this keeps working so well!

The G-Baby Report!

So I decided to take Gage to the doctor! I thought he may be starting to get sick! And after a comment from my friend I also thought I should get some testing done on Gage to see if maybe he had acid reflex because of his violent tantrums he's been having lately! She said it could be a possibility! So Gage will be getting an Upper G.I on Monday the 6th! She gave us some previcid for now and were still waiting to see if it works! He wouldn't take it dissolved in water so now I have to break it and put it in his cheeks! So he's only had a total of 2 pills! Hopefully things start to get better! Gage was not getting sick thank goodness! He may have a lil eye infection so were giving him some eyedrops! He sure has grown alot since september 8th! He is now 14pounds 11 ounces and 26 inches long! He grew over a pound and an inch! Were now giving him more rice in his bottles she wants us to be giving him for ounces of rice a day! Which is gonna bind him up even more than he already is! He's always had a problem with that and just finally is starting to be able to go on his own with out help! So now it starts all over again! lol! Well we will work it out eventually! At least now he's old enough to eat prunes and drink prune juice! That should help! We tried prunes for the first time yesterday! It was hilariously! He wasn't quite sure what to do with them at first but he finally got it down!

I WAS GOING THROUGH ALL MY UNREAD MESSAGES IN MY EMAIL THAT I PUT IN A SPECIAL FOLDER AND I FOUND VIDEOS I HAD RECORDED ON MY CHOCOLATE PHONE BEFORE IT BROKE (again it was my 7th one) APARENTLY I SENT THEM TO MYSELF BUT I TOTALLY FORGOT I DID THAT! Roxie is Josh's baby! She was the girl in his life before I came into the picture! She is such a good dog, Josh has her very well trained! She loves Gavin and Gage! Gavin adored her and called her Raw-wie! She will always be known as Raw-wie! She has such a personality! She's hilarious and swears shes a lap dog!

Gucci is my baby! What gave it away? Lol!

Josh got Gucci for me a couple months ago! He is a 9 month old AKC papered Yorkie! What I've always wanted! (Yes my husband spoils me!) Gucci is very good with Gage! When Gage is asleep on the couch Gucci lays at his feet! It'll be great for them to grow up together! Gucci is a lil crazy but I'm working on training him!

Gucci & Roxie get along famously! A lil too well some times! They drive me nuts at times playing constantly! Gucci swears he's as big as Roxie even though Roxie tramples him from time to time! Our home would not be the same with out them!♥

Neverending Schedule Change!

So we were unable to go to our counseling appointment today! Josh was called in so it is now re scheduled For September 30th! Our schedule is always getting messed up! Some days I am so thankful for the Army and what they did for us when Gavin passed away and other days I'd like to give the Commander a piece of my mind! Josh was supposed to be off this weekend and I was so looking forward to it but now he's working! Go figure! I'll be keeping myself busy though working on the baby shower I'm throwing for my cousin! She's having a girl so I get to play with pink! Definitely a new world for me! I'll be posting pictures as I go! So I think I'm finally tired enough to fall asleep finally so here goes nothing!

So I'm awake, as usual! I can't seem to sleep at night to save my life! Josh and I are going to see a counselor today at 3pm to help with losing Gavin! I know I need to go but of course I'm a lil sceptical! I have fallen into a bit of a depression, it only makes since, I lost a huge part of me! There's just some broken things that can't be fixed! I know it will help me though at least a lil! We will see how it goes!

So most of you know that my son Gavin Marshall Messier passed away recently! The gal involved has started a project back in Virginia in honor of Gavin! This is the proposal that she sent to the Sargent Major! The proposal has been accepted and plans are being made to start construction! I am so truly touched by this! Check it out! Love ya guys!

Gavin's Place Project

Objective: To build a safe fenced area for children to ride bikes and power wheels, to run and play, and to honor the memory of a special little boy.
Statement: We believe Pinnacle is doing a wonderful job managing and building our communities. However, a young boy named Gavin Pyatt was killed Tuesday by a truck in an alleyway here in Herryford Village. The concern of parents is that though we have wonderful small playgrounds here in Herryford, there is no suitable place for our children to ride bikes and powerwheels, or to run free and play. As a result, parents and children are congregating in the alleyways as an alternative to the small and unfenced front yards. Once viewed as a safer alternative to playing in the street, we now know that the alleys are just as risky as the main roads. Many parents in these homes have multiple children. Even under the closest supervision, it is very challenging to protect children from the danger of the roads and cars. Upon review of the following points, we believe that you will agree with us that building a large fenced play area would not only be safer for our military children, but protect the Pinnacle Company and the military as well.
Proposal: We are proposing that Pinnacle and the United States Military build a fenced play area on the open grass expanse in Herryford Village and call it Gavin's Place. The expense for this project would be minimal and the benefits would be many, including the following:
Building a gated play area gives our children a place to ride powerwheels and bikes and play in a safe area without the risk of falling in the streets and alleys or being struck by a car.
It provides a safe place for military families to congregate and socialize, which is especially important for the lonely and sometimes overwhelmed spouses of deployed troops.
It encourages healthy exercise for children such as bike riding, running etc.
It demonstrates that Pinnacle and the United States of America have a commitment to taking all necessary steps to protect the children of the men and women who have dedicated their lives to protecting the American people and their way of life.
It demonstrates a commitment to safety and reduces the substantial risk of liability to the Military and/or Pinnacle in the event something like this should happen again and the parents proceed with a lawsuit.
It ensures that something positive and good will come out of a needless tragedy and honors the memory of a wonderful little boy.

My Cause!

I'm starting an awareness group for parents and toddlers who have gone through what my Lil Gavin and I went through! The reality is that more and more toddlers are being run over by vehicles and it's too late to do anything after you've lost your baby! So in loving memory of my beautiful Boy Gavin I am starting an awareness/support group! Now it's just in the beginning stages! I have to figure out all the exacts and I want to come up with a cute, catchy, but meaningful name! And then I'll go from there! There's so much parents need to know to keep there babies safe! I thought my Gavin was safe until I was well educated! It's too late for me to save my baby but it's not too late to save others!

Melt Down!

I always say that Gavin never prepared me for Gage! They are complete day and night! Gage is a very sweet baby but he is very demanding! He fights me on everything! Lately he throws these killer fits! Hysterically screaming and flailing his arms! I have to keep his nails trimmed all of the time cause he will grab me and pinch me! The other day I thought he actually took a chunk out of my arm! Hell grab my hair and pull it taking chunks at a time! Tonight he screamed for at least a good hour if not more! I had to hold him snugly and hold his arms down at the same time cause I'm so afraid he is going to hurt himself! I don't understand these melt downs that he has! He's been fed, changed, given a Bink, loved, kissed, hugged, burped...absolutely everything I can think of! I think I'm gonna schedule an appointment with his doctor! I've never seen a baby do the things that he does during these melt downs! Not one as young as him! I love him very much and will sit with him through these as long as it takes! I just wonder if there is something else behind this!
